Fortunately, I did not go to college in the US where it is so expensive ! I did go the University of Paris but being a French citizen , it was practically free ( we pay more taxes of course ) In 2025 for undergraduate studies at the Sorbonne Paris you had to pay only one hundred and seventy eight euros for the whole year!! Of course you need to have good grades in high school and it is very competitive
What is expensive is finding a place to live in the city where you are going to study,most universities don’ have a campus where you can live or there are very few rooms available
But if you are a foreign student and study there and then I assume it is different
If I had grown up in the US I probably would not have been able to go to college….
